Teaching

Lawrence Green was a Senior Lecturer in the School of Music at Brigham Young University, Provo, Utah, since 1981, but then retired in April of 2024. Mr. Green developed the guitar program at Brigham Young University and instituted beginning and intermediate group guitar classes, the Guitar Ensemble, as well as private lessons for music majors and non-majors.

At BYU, Mr. Green taught over 600 students a year; the number of students he has taught in his career are approximately 25,000.
